Repco Authorised Service is Australia's largest network of independent car service workshops and with that comes the reliability of a Nationwide Warranty. Each independently owned Repco Authorised Service workshop offers you an Australian-wide warranty ensuring the goods and services you receive are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something does go wrong or you have a question about our Nationwide Warranty, please get in touch with us here. With over 500 Repco Authorised Service centres Australia wide, there are few places you won't find one of our workshops within easy reach. Warranty Period For services provided by any Repco Authorised Service workshop, the warranty is for a period of 12 months or 20,000kms (whichever comes first) from the date of your invoice. Claims If you need to make a claim under the warranty, please contact the Repco Authorised Service workshop that originally completed the work on your vehicle. The workshop where the work was originally performed will be responsible for responding to and accepting claims. If the original workshop can't help, they may authorise another workshop in the network to assist. Terms and Conditions What does the warranty cover? The Repco Authorised Service workshop will have the option of reperforming, replacing or repairing the good or service if it is or becomes defective during the warranty period, at no additional charge.
a.       Where the good or service is replaced, repaired or reperformed pursuant to this warranty, the replacement good or reperformed service will be subject to the terms of this warranty commencing on the date of the original invoice.
b.       If you request for a good to be repaired, your Repco Authorised Service workshop may choose to replace the good with a refurbished good of the same type. The warranty will cover any reasonable diagnosis or scanning fees conducted by the relevant Repco Authorised Service workshop, if such goods or services are later found to be defective. If the work done on your vehicle involves the supply of services from another service provider nominated by the Repco Authorised Service centre, the warranty offered by such service provider will replace this Nationwide Warranty to the extent of such goods .  The Repco Authorised Service centre will advise you of the terms and conditions of such warranty. The rights and obligations under this warranty remain solely with the original Repco Authorised Service workshop that provided you with the product or service. The benefit of this warranty is personal to you and is not transferable. What does the warranty not cover? This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear and consumable goods such as globes, wipers, and fluids; loss of any data stored in your vehicle like music or phone numbers; and any incidental loss or damage caused by the defect, such as towing fees, loss of profits, loss of use and loss of goodwill or other loss or damage that cannot reasonably be considered to arise normally. This warranty is void if the defect is a consequence of misuse, neglect, abuse, incorrect operation or improper maintenance of the vehicle, accident, or other use that is not otherwise caused by a Repco Authorised Service workshop. How to submit a warranty claim Step 1: Have your original invoice ready. Step 2: Ensure that you make your claim within the warranty period. Step 3:  Please contact the Repco Authorised Service centre that carried out the relevant repairs or maintenance on your vehicle. Their contact details are on  your original invoice.  Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law The goods and services acquired from a Repco Authorised Service workshop comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Rotate Car Tyres A tyre rotation technique is a fantastic way to ensure you get a smooth economical ride through even tyre wear. Due to car load and road friction the front tyres tend to wear faster than the back, so by replacing the front tyres with the back once in their lifetime means you can enhance our tyres' lifespans. Whether you buy budget tyres or expensive ones, tyre rotation is equally beneficial. 2. Maintain Best Tyre Pressure To keep your tyres in good health, maintaining optimum tyre pressure is paramount. This will increase the lifespan of our tyres, keep your car in control when you are driving and provide greater fuel efficiency because low tyre pressure consumes more fuel. It is important to note that tyre pressure is not determined by the type of tyre nor its size, but rather upon our vehicle's load and speed. To find out what your tyre pressure should be, consulting the manufacture tyre placard - often found inside the driver's door, in the glove box, inside the fuel filter cap or under the bonnet - can give you information on recommended tyre pressure. The placard also displays the manufacturer's recommended tyre sizes. NB: When checking the pressure of your tyres, you should check them when they are cold, as pressure increases when the tyres become hot. 3. Inspect Wheel Alignment Uneven tyre wear can throw off the alignment of your vehicle. This results in reduced fuel efficiency, an uneven ride and causes safety issues. Absolutely .... over time, our engine oil can break down and become pretty contaminated with dust, dirt and debris from the surrounding environment.  Proactively changing our car's engine oil will not only help our engine to work at its best, but also will prevent costly repairs down the track. Let's explore the benefits of getting an oil change in a little more detail. 1. Engine lubrication makes it function easily Our car engine is made up of many moving parts rubbing up against each other to help create energy. These parts need to be kept lubricated to prevent wear and tear (or stopping to work all together). Oil provides this essential function. Our engines demand a lot from the oil we use and over time will eventually break down the chemical construction of the oil so it can no longer provide lubrication. This is why old oil needs to be drained and new, fresh oil needs to be added to ensure proper lubrication. 2. Keep hot engine parts cool We now know that the moving parts within our engine create a lot of friction. This in turn creates heat. Maintaining clean and sufficient amounts of oil ensures our engine is kept lubricated so it does not become overheated. 3. Fresh Oil removes engine dirt Dust and debris are deadly to our engines.
